TWO musicians who starred on a hit talent show in the 1970s have reformed a band,
Chesterfield act Soft Persuasion was well known for performing in local venues like Sheffield City Hall during the 1960s and 1970s.
Members Alan Boyce and Janet Coleman even took part in television show Opportunity Knocks in 1972 as a previous incarnation of the band, called The Folks.
Soft Persuasion was formed in 1975 with Ron Taylor but split in 1978 when the musicians followed other careers.
Soft Persuasion are at Calow Community Centre, Chesterfield, on Saturday, September, 29 at 7pm.
