Former Arsenal and FA vice chairman to visit South Yorkshire school

The former vice chairman of Arsenal and the Football Association is to visit a South Yorkshire school.

David Dein Former chairamn of Arsenal FC and founding memberof the Premier League is to visit a Barnsley school

David Dein will be put on the spot when he makes a visit to Barnsley Academy on Monday.

Organised by the charity Speakers for Schools, the event will see Mr Dein address more 100 year nine students, with a presentation based around the phenomenal success of the Premier League.

Principal Stephen Dixon said: "We’re delighted to be welcoming David Dein to the academy and hearing his inspirational stories about the rise of the Premier League.”
