Football giants Chelsea jet into Doncaster ahead of crunch FA Cup match
Premier League football giants Chelsea have jetted into Doncaster this lunchtime ahead of a crunch FA Cup match tonight.
The London-based side are understood to have flown into Doncaster Sheffield Airport earlier today ahead of their fifth round tie with Barnsley tonight.
Thomas Tuchel’s mega-rich side regularly use private charter jets to fly to away games and other football teams including Arsenal have touched down in Finningley before en route to games in Yorkshire.
It is understood players such as goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, winger Hakim Ziyech and midfielder N'Golo Kante then joined a luxury coach for the short ride across South Yorkshire to Barnsley’s Oakwell stadium.
The two sides are bidding for a place in the FA Cup Quarter Finals, with the encounter being screened live on BBC One from 8pm.
The draw for the quarter finals will take place later tonight with the fixtures for the last eight being revealed during the coverage.
