Are you a cook?

I do really enjoy cooking, but it can be difficult fitting it around work and family life.

Any cooking tips?

I’d love to say I have a good nose for knowing what goes with what, but I have to follow recipes to the letter!

What’s your favourite dish?

I absolutely love pasta and seafood, so any combination of the two really.

And a drink to go with it?

A chilled glass of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.

Favourite restaurant in Sheffield?

This is a difficult one; I would have to say BB’s on Devonshire Street as they do the most amazing steaks.

And pub?

Slightly outside of Sheffield, but the Three Acres at Emley Moor, it has a real country feel about it.

Worst ever meal you have had?

Probably when my husband and I went to Rome for our honeymoon. The restaurant was overlooking the Trevi Fountain; think we were paying just for the view!

And the best?

My husband is really good at cooking tapas, so I would have to say this is my favourite whilst watching a good movie with a glass of wine.

Favourite TV cook?

I like Jamie Oliver and the Hairy Bikers but am also a big fan of Tom Kerridge.

What do you think of Sheffield as a place to eat out?

I think Sheffield is a real up and coming place in terms of variety and quality of restaurants. Apps such as TripAdvisor help you to find hidden gems.
