Copies are now due to be available this month, ahead of the Christmas rush.

“When we were asked if we would like to be part of The Sheffield Cook Book we couldn’t answer yes quick enough”, said manager of The Hidden Gem Café, Sarah-Jayne Field.

“We are very fortunate to be surrounded by so many up and coming chefs and eateries throughout the city and it’s a privilege to be involved.

“This is the first time The Hidden Gem has been linked with such a successful venture and its one that really does excite us.”

The book will also tell the stories behind some of Sheffield’s best known eateries and producers.

“We have become a richly diverse foodie city, with some fantastic local producers and a restaurant scene that’s inspired by different cultures and cuisines.
