It’s an A to Z of European destinations and beyond, including an early selection of sun routes such as Alicante, Faro and Malaga, for travel between March 31 and June 16, 2019.

The recently launched Belfast service has proved a hit with travellers so far this summer and is set to continue for Summer 2019. A further phase with new schedule enhancements is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

Flybe is the second largest low-fare airline to operate from Doncaster Sheffield Airport with over three quarters of a million passengers have flown on Flybe to and from Doncaster Sheffield Airport since it started operating at DSA. The top ten destinations include Alicante, Amsterdam, Paris, Jersey and Dublin. Chris Harcombe, Aviation Development Director, Doncaster Sheffield Airport, said: “We are delighted to announce another summer season of exciting holiday destinations and European business capitals with Flybe. Summer 2019 at DSA is shaping up to one of our biggest and Flybe play a major role in offering greater choice and value to our growing number of customers.”

Roy Kinnear, Flybe Chief Commercial Officer, said: “We have listened to our customers’ feedback and know that many like to plan their travel far in advance. Our new schedule features many of our most popular high frequency service and also highlights Flybe’s ongoing commitment to unparalleled connectivity from regional airports to destinations across the UK, Europe and beyond.”

Flybe has played a big part in DSA reaching record levels for passenger numbers, seeing 1.3 million in 2017.

The recent opening of phase two of the Great Yorkshire Way, with a direct link to the motorway network taking 15-20 minutes off most car journeys, has made this local airport accessible within a 60-minute drive for over 6 million potential passengers.

Named as the UK’s best small airport under 10 million passengers by Which? consumer group, Doncaster Sheffield Airport offers an unrivalled customer experience from the moment of arrival. The airport scores highly for terminal parking close by, queues at security, passport control, baggage drop and most significantly the friendly ‘Yorkshire welcome’ from staff.
