Flooding in Sheffield

I read in The Star that Sheffield City Council is spending money to avert flooding at Meadowhead and Greenhill.

They are not the only areas which get affected when there is heavy rain, so is it that some of the councillors are affected in that area?

It’s a known fact that leaves cause a lot of the problems as they fall in the autumn and are left to block the drains. Some on the dole should be got out of bed and clear the leaves before being paid dole money and that would ease the problem to some extent. But it’s probably against their human rights to have to do it.
