Flats plan for Sheffield city centre office block
A four-storey city centre office building could be converted into flats.
Friends Life Limited has applied to change the use of Dearing House in Young Street, off Moore Street.
According to the plans, drawn up by Arkleboyce Architects, the structure of the building would not be changed, but the internal layout would be turned into 44 apartments: 30 with one bedroom, 11 with two bedrooms and three two-bed duplexes.
The building has 37 car parking spaces in a basement, and 15 in a courtyard, and the developer plans to keep them all.
