The date was Tuesday April 5 2005 and the match saw Warnock's Blades smash four past a bewildered Leeds side.

Webber, making his United debut, made a sensational start when he went on a jinking run before sliding the ball home after just 93 seconds.

Most the 29,000 fans inside Elland Road were silenced.

The Blades doubled their lead on the half hour mark when midfielder Nick Montgomery stabbed the ball home from eight yards following some good work from Alan Quinn.

Any fears Unitedites might have had that Leeds might come back into the game in the second half were blown out of the water just two minutes after the break when Andy Gray volleyed in a third goal for the visitors.

The striker scored his second goal of the night in the 74th minutes sealing a memorable win for the Blades over their Yorkshire rivals.

After the match Warnock said: ""This was a great night for Sheffield United and we have to enjoy it."
