With Leeds sitting in 14th place in the Championship table and Wednesday residing in 17th, the most recent clash between the two sides was probably as much about pride as it was points.

All the goal scoring action in the tie at Elland Road came late in the match as Adthe Nuhiu fired the Owls ahead on 71 minutes before Jay-Roy Grot found an equaliser for the home side 15 minutes later.

Nuhiu was the hero of the day when he grabbed a 90th minute winner to secure a brace, bragging rights and three points.

Sheffield Wednesday 6-0 Leeds United - 11 January 2014 Caretaker manager Stuart Gray masterminded Wednesday's biggest ever win over Leeds as Reda Johnson and Atdhe Nuhiu found the net before half time.  Tom Lees, then playing for the visitors, was replaced as a substitute just after the break but Matt Smith's cameo was limited to just two minutes on the pitch as he was sent off for elbowing Johnson in a challenge.

Connor Wickham made it 3-0 before Chris Maguire and two from Caolan Lavery doubled the score to make it 6-0.

Leeds United 2-3 Sheffield Wednesday - 3 March 2007 Marcus Tudgay's header put Wednesday 1-0 up after just seven minutes before a brilliant 40-yard lob from Chris Brunt made it 2-0 to the visitors.   Tudgay's afternoon came to an early end as he was sent off for a second yellow card, but that didn't stop Jermaine Johnson from making it a comfortable 3-0.

Leeds staged a late comeback with goals from Lee Bullen and Richard Cresswell, but Wednesday were just able to hold on to the win.

Mark Pembridge fired into the roof of his own net from Harry Kewell's cross to give United a lifeline, but Booth saved the day with seven minutes left on the clock as he converted Ian Nolan's cross.
