FIVE men arrested after a South Yorkshire man was stabbed to death have been released on bail.

Three men in their twenties were arrested on suspicion of the murder of 40-year-old Justin Hague, in Brinsworth, Rotherham.

Two others were arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary.

All five were released on police bail until after Christmas.

Another man charged with aggravated burglary was remanded in custody when he appeared at Sheffield Magistrates’ this morning.

It follows a disturbance on Godric Drive, Brinsworth, on Saturday, December 3, at around 10pm.

Mr Hague was found in Godric Green suffering from several stab wounds.

He was taken by ambulance to Rotherham District General Hospital. Doctors tried to save him, but he was pronounced dead at around 11.24pm.
