First picture of Doncaster stab victim Lewis Guest released by his devastated family

The first picture of Lewis Guest has been released by his devastated family, five days after he was found stabbed to death in Doncaster.

The 18-year-old was discovered in a block of flats off Wadworth Street, Denaby Main, on Wednesday, March 8 following reports of an assault.

Despite being rushed to hospital, Lewis was pronounced dead shortly afterwards. A post-mortem examination later concluded that the teenager had been stabbed to death.

Lewis's family have today released the first picture of him, adding that they are all "shocked and devastated by his death".

The statement read: “Lewis’ family are shocked and devastated by his death. They wish to thank all those people who have taken the time to leave their kind thoughts of Lewis on social media.

“However, his family would ask that their privacy is respected at this very sad time.”

Megan Sambrook, 18, of Wadworth Street, Denaby Main, is charged with murder in connection with his death.

Hundreds of people have already paid tribute to the popular teenager on social media following his death.
