Solid Entertainments is showcasing a line-up of established and emerging artists at the festival, on Sunday September 18, and has annouced there will be ‘something for every taste.’

There will be seven acts performing on the indoor Acoustic Stage and six acts on the outdoor Marquee Stage at the Doncaster venue from 2pm to 10.30pm. The doors will open at 1.30pm and Early Bird tickets are now on sale at £19 each.

A spokesman for the festival said: “We’re delighted to announce the first ever South Yorkshire Folk, Roots & World Music Festival next month.

“As our first festival of this kind in South Yorkshire, we wanted to showcase the quality of live music in the UK and we think we have achieved this.

“With so many artists performing on the day, this is arguably the best value for money festival in the UK.

“There will also be a huge range of foods available on the day and a selection of real ales, ciders and other beverages

The line-up features: Edwina Hayes, Lucy Marshall, Chris Cleverley, Merlin’s Keep, Strummin’ Steve Jackson, Roger Davies, Itchy Fingers, Madison Violet, Band From County Hell, Said The Maiden, Ric Sanders Trio, Gilmore & Roberts, and Polly And The Billets Doux.
