First acts to play at Sheffield's music festival Tramlines announced

The first wave of artists to play at city festival Tramlines have been announced today.

Dizzee Rascal has been named as Friday night’s Main Stage headliner.

Young Fathers, Dawn Penn, Goldie MBE, Toddla T, Norman Jay MBE, Amy Becker, Mumdance, Field Music, Hinds, Gwenno, C Duncan, Randall will also take to the stage over the three-day music extravaganza.

Upcoming Sheffield band Trash will also be included alongside other emerging talent, Little Simz, Hinds, C Duncan; Meilyr Jones, Rukhsana Merrise and All We Are.
