EMPLOYEES at a Doncaster firm have steered their way to safety after completing a safe driving-at-work training programme.

Frank Haslam Milan Yorkshire has become the first Keepmoat business to train all of its operative drivers in driver safety.

During the first phase of the programme, 108 tradespeople completed an NVQ Level 2 in Carrying and Delivering Goods and a further 94 are set to complete a driver apprenticeship.

Government funding has been sourced to finance the training programme, which focuses on the safety of the driver and passengers when transporting goods.
