PARAMEDICS had to call out firefighters to help them move a heavy patient from her Sheffield home.
Firefighters were sent to a house on Sky Edge Avenue on Saturday evening to assist.
A South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue spokesman said: “The patient was a woman aged about 75 and she was being brought out on a trolley.
“There was a lintel on the door and steps to take her to the waiting ambulance. We ended up having to take the back door off.
“Mainly it was a case of using arms and legs to help lift the trolley.”
