Earlier today (February 18) firefighters were called to Station Road, near the Lowood Club, where poor pooch Flynn was stuck.

A crew from Barnsley white watch spent about an hour digging down to the pipe to rescue Flynn from his predicament.

He was reunited with his owner, looking bedraggled and muddy but otherwise unhurt.
