Firefighters rescue puppy trapped in sofa in South Yorkshire
A mischievous puppy which managed to get itself trapped inside a sofa had to be rescued by firefighters in South Yorkshire.
The 10-week-old French bulldog got its head caught up in the reclining mechanism of the settee in Darfield, Barnsley, yesterday evening.
Firefighters from Tankersley Home were called out at 6am by the pooch's frantic owner.
They used cutting tools to free the dog, who emerged from the ordeal unscathed.
