Firefighters help Doncaster woman stranded in snow in wheelchair
Firefighters went the extra mile to help a Doncaster woman stranded in the snow in her wheelchair.
Member of the blue watch crew at Thorne responded after a woman ended up stranded in the snow when the battery on her motorised wheelchair ran flat in Moorends.
A spokesman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said: "Firefighters pushed her the quarter of a mile in the snow to her home and made sure she was safe and well."
