Firefighters deployed to blaze in Sheffield suburb

Two fire engines have been deployed to tackle a fire in a Sheffield suburb on Monday evening.

The incident is believed to have taken place around 6pm at a car wash near St Joseph's Church on Handsworth Road.

A visit to the scene by The Star at 6.40pm showed that flames had been fully extinguished and traffic resumed as normal.

The firefighters however remained at the scene for further investigation.
