Firefighters called after blaze in Sheffield city city student accommodation
Firefighters were called to a block of student accommodation in Sheffield city centre last night (June 1) after a cooker set alight.

Three fire engines from Parkway, Birley Moor and Aston attended the block of flats at the junction between Edward Street and Scotland Street, Netherthorpe.
There was a small fire at a cooker in one of the flats. No casualties have been reported.
It was an accidental fire and the fire service were no longer at the scene by 8:45pm.
