Dozens of firefighters have battled through the night to extinguish a huge blaze at a recycling plant in Sheffield.
The fire at Richard Fletchers Recycling on Clement Street, Darnall, was discovered at 9.20pm last night.
A team of 25 firefighters and five fire engines from across the city remain at the scene this morning.
An investigation into the cause of the blaze is to be launched once the flames are out.
A South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue spokesman said “Fire crews from Parkway, Central, Elm Lane, Rivelin and Birley Station were called at 9.20pm on Thursday evening.
“A large pile of recycling is on fire. Crews are using hose reels to tackle the blaze.
“There is a lot of smoke in the area and firefighters are advising people to keep their doors and windows closed.
“An investigation into the cause of the fire will take place once it is out.”
