FIREFIGHTERS spent more than two hours dealing with a blaze which broke out and affected three derelict houses in Edlington.

Crews from Edlington and Doncaster fire stations were called to the incident at 1.30am, and used breathing apparatus and a main hose reel to put the fires out.

The cause of the fire, at Roberts Road, was logged by firefighters as deliberate.
