Firefighters are tackling a huge blaze at a derelict building in Rotherham, which is sending smoke billowing across the town.
Crews from Rotherham, Elm Lane, Parkway, Maltby and Aston Park stations were called to Don Street, in Rotherham town centre, at around 3.50am this morning.
A South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue spokeswoman said crews from five stations and an aerial appliance remained at the scene.
She added there was a large amount of smoke in the area and people living near the site have been advised to keep their windows and doors shut.
The cause of the blaze is not yet known and an investigation into the cause of the fire will take place once it is completely out.
