Fire crews spend more than two hours at scene of Sheffield blaze


A man had to be taken to hospital following a building fire in Sheffield.
Firefighters were called to a first-floor blaze on Lindsey Avenue, near Sheffield Lane Top, at around 9.15pm.
A spokeswoman said a man - believed to be in his twenties - suffered from the effects of smoke inhalation.
Crews from Elm Lane, Rivelin and Sheffield Central spent around two hours at the scene.
