Fire crews rescue terriers from rabbit hole in Stone Lane

Firefighters rescued two dogs that were stuck down a rabbit hole.

Crews from Parkway fire station were called to Stone Lane, in Shirebrooke Valley Nature Reserve, Woodhouse, at 11.50am today (February 10). They found the owner of two terriers, both of which had got stuck in a burrow.

Firefighters managed to release one of the dogs straight away, but the other was further inside the hole, so they had to dig down to rescue it.
