Dog fouling patrols are targeting the centre of Goldthorpe to crack down on the issue, a council meeting in the town has been told.
The Dearne Area Council was told problems over the issue had been highlighted in High Street, and patrols were brought in as a result.
The meeting was told that 111 tickets had been issued for spot fines in the area.
Of those, 13 had been for dog fouling, 82 had been for littering, and 16 had been for parking offences.
Meanwhile, it also emerged at the meeting that an parking fines enforcement car had been vandalised after dishing out parking tickets at a lay-by in the area.
A total of 12 tickets had been issued to cars parked in the layby during the first day of an operation to crack down on the issue, and two more the following day. The enforcement vehicle was ‘keyed’ on both sides three days later the meeting was told.
