Find out how to get online with free drop-in event

The event, held between 11am and 2pm on March 8, will include a mixture of stalls aimed at helping people to get online.

Volunteer digital champions will be on hand to help show people how getting online can be fun, easy and even save them money. Digital champions can provide one-to-one support.

A spokesman for the event said: “Bring your own computer tablet or smart phone or try one of ours and find out how getting online can make a big difference to your life.

“Whether you are confident in using the internet or anxious about cyberspace, come along have a bite to eat with us and find out more about being online.”
