A DRUG dealer’s mum who allowed her son to keep cannabis at her Sheffield council house has been spared eviction and given a final warning.

Lisa Fowler, aged 42, of Challoner Green, Westfield, was told by a judge at Sheffield County Court she could be evicted if she permits any further illegal activity at the address.

The court heard Fowler was given a caution after the police recovered a small amount of cannabis from a kitchen cupboard in the house and a ‘more substantial amount’ from under her son’s bed.

Dwayne Allison, 23, Fowler’s son, was given a nine-month suspended jail term after being convicted of possession of cannabis with intent to supply at Sheffield Crown Court.

Sheffield Council and Sheffield Homes took possession proceedings against his mother as a result of the illegal activity.

At the county court, a district judge made a possession order, which was suspended on condition Fowler complies with the condition of tenancy that prohibits illegal and nuisance activity at or near the property.

Fowler was also ordered to pay the council’s costs of £3147.30.
