Final '˜Question Time' council meeting

Sheffield Council leaders will be holding their final Cabinet roadshow meeting next week.

The council has held a series of ‘Question Time’ style sessions over the winter months to discuss issues that matter to people.

The last in the series of seven meetings will be in St Bart’s on Primrose Hill on Wednesday, March 16, at 6.30pm, with the opportunity to meet councillors from 6pm.

Coun Julie Dore, leader of the council said: “Over the last few years we have found the Cabinet in the Community events to be a positive way of connecting with people across the city. We’ve had some really lively debates and discussions on issues that matter to people in those areas.”

The items for discussion will be drawn up by local people and put to the Cabinet in the hour and a half session.

Residents will be able to submit written questions at least five days in advance of the meeting by emailing [email protected].

Where possible, questions will be grouped together so that a more focussed discussion can take place.
