ONE of the last pantos of the season is being staged this weekend – and it’s sure to be just right.

Wales Methodist Panto Players are putting on Goldilocks and the Three Bears at Montgomery Hall Theatre.

For Roy Staniforth MBE, writer and producer, it is his last show.

The Killamarsh 83-year-old said: “I’ve been writing them since 1944 but this is my last show, my swansong.

“We think people should come along because it is a fantastic pantomine.”

The theatre is within Montgomery Hall on Surrey Street opposite the town hall in Sheffield city centre.

The shows start at 7.15pm on tonight, and 2pm and 6pm on Saturday.

Tickets are £8 adult, £7 OAP and £5 children.
