Paul Thompson's men clung on to the narrow lead in the defensively-tight encounter - but onlu until 58;37 when Shayne Stockton finished off a move from Russ Moyer and Evan Bloodoff, after the Scots pulled off their goalie for the extra skater.

That took the game into overtime.

And that only lasted nine seconds when Bloodoff snapped in the winner.

It was Steelers second successive League defeat, and a slap in the face after a rollercoaster week, which saw Colton Fretter banned for six games for an incident the previous Sunday.
