JUST eight per cent of people in Sheffield still curl up to read a book at bedtime, according to a survey.

Computer games and mobile apps are taking up more of our time than ever, Specsavers found.

But, overall, reading is not going out of fashion as one third of women admitted staying up into the middle of the night to finish an exciting read.

The company questioned more than 1,000 people across the country.
