Festive South Yorkshire driving habits revealed
South Yorkshire drivers will travel an extra 70 miles in the run up to Christmas Day, new research reveals.
According car manufacturer Vauxhall, 40 per cent of motorists will leave home on Christmas day and 28 per cent will make multiple trips to visit family members.
The typical Christmas journey involves delivering five presents, two bottles of wine, a bottle of spirits, a Christmas pudding and a pack of mince pies.
