Visitors to the historic Wentworth Woodhouse are encouraged to get involved in some festive fun as the country house hosts its annual Christmas fair.

Visitors today and tomorrow will be able to explore the beautiful Grade I listed historic house, whilst browsing a range of stalls packed full of crafts, gifts, tasty treats and delicious food and drink.

The crowds will be entertained by Dinnington Brass Band and Sheffield Flute Choir who will be playing throughout the weekend.

Weather permitting there will also be donkey rides and fairground rides for youngsters to enjoy.

Frozen’s Elsa, Anna and Olaf will be there today between 4pm and 6.30pm.

While two of Father Christmas’s reindeer will be in attendance on the Sunday.

Traffic and parking have been an issue in the village of Wentworth at previous events, but to combat this event organisers Embee Marketing have hired a traffic management company to ensure that parking runs smoothly.

Tickets are priced at £5 for adults and under 16s can go free.

To get tickets in advance visit the official website at http://www.wentworthwoodhouse.co.uk/events or simply pay on the door.
