ORGANISERS of the annual Lowedges Festival say this year’s event is on course to be the biggest ever as final preparations are put in place.
The festival is happening on Sunday, August 12, in Greenhill Park from noon, with attractions including fun fair rides and trade stalls.
Also confirmed for the main arena are the Drakes of Hazzard, from Scotland, whose acts include sheep dogs and ducks.
Stephen Rich, from Greenhill and Bradway TARA, said: “Everything’s on course now, and it’s going to be 25 per cent bigger than last year.”
