A faulty heater is thought to have caused a huge blaze at an industrial unit in Sheffield yesterday.

The fire at Troika Ltd, on the Century Park industrial estate in Darnall, broke out yesterday afternoon.

At the height of the blaze there were four fire engines and an aerial ladder platform at the scene and plumes of thick, black smoke could be seen across the city.

A spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "A big well done to our firefighters who tackled the fire at Century Park, Darnall, last night.

"It's thought the fire was caused by an industrial heater.

"Four fire engines and an aerial tackled it at its height."
