A farmer is considering moving following a five year campaign by callous thieves who continue to target his property .
Thousands of pounds worth of damage was caused and several items stolen, including a £3,000 horse harness, in the latest incident at Wyndthorpe Hall Farm in Dunsville.
David Pritchard has lived and worked at the property for 40 years but says Sunday’s incident is the final straw.
Mr Pritchard was out tap dancing at an event to raise money for Cancer Research UK when the break in happened.
He added: “I was absolutely traumatised when I saw the state of the place, I’m dumbfounded it looked like a bomb had been dropped.
“It’s getting beyond a joke now I feel like farmers are being targeted in the area. I’ve had problems for the past five years now and I know other farmers in the area have also been affected, I’m considering moving it’s getting that bad.
“I’ve had the lead stolen from my roof and all sorts. “It would be easier for the police to ring me every week it’s happening so often.”
Mr Pritchard said police were reviewing CCTV footage in a bid to catch the culprits.
Anyone with information should call police on 101 quoting incident 995 of June 7.
