Fan zone for Sheffield World Cup celebrations arrives in Devonshire Green ahead of England vs Norway clash
"These are the nights supporters want to experience together and Fan City is built for exactly that”
A fan zone for Sheffield’s World Cup celebrations - or commiserations - is taking shape on Devonshire Green.

Fences have arrived on the popular city centre park with a huge screen to follow in time for the England vs Norway clash this Satuday (July 11).
The quarter final battle kicks off at 10pm and will likely see thousands of revellers take to Sheffield city centre in pubs and parks for the match.

Fans will have to pay to get in for the England games - but other matches will be free admission. fans are also out of luck for games that start too late at night - such as the very last quarter final on July 12, which begins at 2am.
A spokesman for Fan City said: "England knockout games are always special, but after the drama of Mexico and with Norway now standing between England and a World Cup semi final, this feels like a huge moment.
"These are the nights supporters want to experience together and Fan City is built for exactly that.
"We’ve seen some incredible scenes at Devonshire Green and we’re looking forward to bringing that atmosphere back to the city once again.
"Whether you're cheering on England, following another nation or simply love tournament football, Fan City will now be open for the rest of the World Cup."
