Family rescued after getting trapped in Sheffield car park lift

Firefighters had to rescue a family who got stuck in a Sheffield city centre car park lift.

A crew was called to the NCP in Hartshead when the lift broke down just before 11am today.

Several family members were trapped for about half an hour before firefighters managed to free them.

It is not yet known what caused the problem.
