ORGANISERS at a Sheffield animal charity are preparing to hold a gala day.
Support Dogs is hosting the event at Hillsborough Park on Sunday, July 1, from 10.30am to 4pm.
Planned attractions include a demonstration of the dogs’ skills, as well as children’s activities and craft stalls.
Rita Howson, charity director, said: “Last year, about 1,000 people came to our first gala day. We hope even more people will come along this year for a fun day out.
“We are celebrating our 20th birthday this year, so it’s an important occasion for us.”
The charity trains dogs to help people with epilepsy and physical disabilities, as well as parents with autistic children.
