Fairness inquiry seeks your view

Have your say

TIME is running out for Sheffield residents to give their views on reducing inequalities in life expectancy between different parts of the city.

The Sheffield Council-backed Sheffield Fairness Commission wants to hear ‘what has worked well in other cities or in other countries’ and ‘what people think the top priorities to reduce inequalities in the city should be’.

Commission chairman Professor Alan Walker, of Sheffield University, said: “The differences in life expectancy across the city are not just a tragedy for individual Sheffield residents and their families, it diminishes the city and all of us who live in it.”
