MUMS-to-be are being offered extra peace of mind in the early weeks of pregnancy at a new hospital unit in Sheffield
The Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit at Thornbury Hospital at Fulwood can provide scans to women from just six weeks into their pregnancy.
The unit at the private hospital has been open for two months and links into other pregnancy services at the hospital such as abdominal scans, nuchal screening for Downs, 4D ultrasound, antenatal pregnancy services and gynaecology services.
