BUS services across South Yorkshire are subject to minor changes from this weekend.

In Sheffield, there will be revised timetables on First services 97 and 98 between Ecclesfield and Totley, and Stagecoach services 57, between Sheffield and Stocksbridge, and 79 and 79A – Ecclesfield to Batemoor.

Extra journeys have also been added to First service 66 between High Green and Rotherham.

Barnsley service changes include a new ‘employment link’ service S74 from Elsecar to Shortwood Industrial Estate, operated by Sheffield Community Transport.

There will also be improved links from Chapeltown to Wentworth Industrial Estate, near Tankersley, on Tates Travel service 72A.

Rotherham service changes include alterations to Stagecoach services 108 and 109 between Rotherham and Rawmarsh, and revisions to Powells service 87 between Maltby and Meadowhall.

A South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive spokeswoman said: “Passengers are being advised to check as soon as possible to see if their service has been affected.”
