NATURE enthusiasts are going on a fungal conservation walk through the Peak District’s Longshaw estate.

Members of Sorby Natural History Society are meeting at the Longshaw Lodge café on Saturday, January 12, setting off at 10.30am.

The aim of the walk is to observe fungi in its natural habitat in woodland around the estate, which is a habitat for up to 600 species.
