Ex-Sheffield United striker pleads guilty to possessing cocaine during trip to Chessington World of Adventures
Bent, who made 59 appearances for the Blades in two spells, was arrested yesterday and appeared before Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court, south London, today.
The 38-year-old, of Esher, Surrey, pleaded guilty to one count of possessing a class A drug at the children’s theme park on June 20.

Hide AdThe former England Under 21 international, who scored 113 goals in 574 professional games for 14 different clubs, was fined £385, with £85 costs.
Earlier this year at Guildford Crown Court, Bent was sentenced to twelve months imprisonment, suspended for two years, for affray and possession of cocaine.
The striker scored 20 goals in 48 games for the Blades during the 1999-2000 season.
A loan spell back at Bramall Lane in 2011 saw Bent make a further 11 appearances.
His latest spell in football saw him play in the Indonesian Super League for Mitra Kukar during the 2011-2012 campaign.
