The Owls' preseason match against Lincoln City kicks off at 7.30pm at Sincil Bank and around 3,000 Wednesday fans have got tickets.

So many Wednesdayites are going that they have been given the home stand at the stadium and are likely to outnumber Imps supporters.

How to get there and where to park

If you're driving the 49 miles from Sheffield to Lincoln, it should take around 1 hour 20 mins to get there according to the AA .

Parking is available at the stadium behind the Stacey West Stand, or at the South Common car park on South Park Avenue, which is a 5 minute walk from the ground. Parking at South Common costs £3.

Slightly further away and nearer to the city centre there are car parks on Bell Street and High Street, roughly 10 minutes walk from Sincil Bank.

If you're travelling by train, Lincoln Central station is a 15 minute walk from the stadium.

What to wear

A Wednesday shirt is a given, but the good news is that it will be dry and warm in Lincoln for the match with temperatures expected to be around 20 degrees Celsius.

Where to get a pre-match pint

The Centre Spot supporters club behind the South Park stand admits both home and away fans, but there is plenty of choice for pubs along High Street.

The Golden Eagle and the Anchor on High Street or the Ritz (Wetherspoons) are also fan favourites.
