Event to recruit special constables in South Yorkshire
An information evening is planned for people interested in becoming a Special Constable in South Yorkshire.
The event at Barnsley College’s University Campus, Church Street, Barnsley, is to be held on Tuesday, February 16 from 6pm.
Specials must be over 18 years old and be able to work for a minimum of 16 hours a month.
They have the same powers as a regular officer.
