Sheffield equality rights advice worker Douglas Johnson is celebrating his second award nomination in six months.

Mr Johnson, who specialises in discrimination and equality rights for Sheffield Citizens Advice & Law Centre, has been shortlisted for the Legal Aid lawyer of the year title, after successes for disabled access, deaf procedures and those hit by the bedroom tax.

The winner will be announced in June.

The nomination comes six months after he was runner-up in an outstanding achievement award at the Law Centres Network national conference.
