Enriching lives with dementia

Have your say

Members from Enrichment for the Elderly have been given the chance to record memories they can treasure forever through a new partnership with Meadowhall.

Staff from Meadowhall and members from Enrichment for the Elderly and their carers spent an afternoon at Hallam FM creating and recording soundbites about their lives in Sheffield. Each individual had the opportunity to talk about their hobbies, relationships and work lives in Sheffield, and receive a CD and a calendar of their memories as a keepsake to share with family and friends.

Centre director Darren Pearce said: “With an estimated 850,000 people living with dementia in the UK, projects like this help us to connect with people from the local dementia community.
